Montezuma Ministerial Association
The Ministerial Association gathers regularly to plan community events throughout the year, including the ecumenical Maundy Thursday service, an outdoor July 4th worship service on the courthouse square, a community Thanksgiving service, and Summer Nights on the Square – a monthly outdoor social event in conjunction with a car show- all free to the public. The association also provides spiritual encounters for residents at area care facilities. Working together to serve local benevolence, these area pastors also shepherd needs in partnership with the Food Pantry & Clothes Closet and other community outreach programs and events.
Montezuma Food Pantry
Founded in 2009, the Montezuma Food Pantry is a 501c3 serving the county with a 3 to 5 day supply of emergency food. The Food Pantry works independently from the ministerial association and is financially supported by public donations, grants, the local churches, and the Montezuma Ministerial Association. It is a member agency of the NEIA Food Bank contracting with them and following their mandates and regulations in compliance with the Department of Human Services. The Montezuma Food Pantry offers meat, dairy, produce, and bakery items to those in need.
Montezuma Clothes Closet
The Clothes Closet is a mission of the Montezuma Ministerial Associations whose main purpose is to provide clothing and household items to anyone in need. Our products are available at no cost to the customer.
